Energy Home Solutions was founded by Matthew Ricker and David Cogburn, two childhood friends with extensive construction experience. Their early focus was on gutters and insulation, though they had experience with all facets of construction including carpentry, tile work and roofing.
Our early work was mostly directly for homeowners. Working for homeowners directly is so rewarding because of their emotional connection with their home and their appreciation for good work.
We also quickly became trusted subcontractors for our core services with area builders. Our knowledge of building codes and easily passed inspections earned us lots of repeat business in the builder community.
After growing the business for years, Energy Home Solutions became a full-fledged general contractor in the state of Tennessee.
In recent years, EHS started working with several local real estate investment groups. We are their go-to contractors for cost effective high-impact remodels on house flipping projects. The company also does a lot of work improving and maintaining multi-family apartment buildings. We really enjoy these relationships as well.
